TOM CULLEN PHOTOGRAPHY BLOG:
Little Fant Farm is a hidden heritage cottage farm that regularly open their gates to the public for various farm events including their renowned tea barn, PYO fruits and music events. Being local to us in Maidstone, we visit the 16 Acre working farm regularly with our daughter to visit the animals and to play on the tractor.
On a recent visit talking to Gerry and Sonya (farmer and farmher) they mentioned they had started to hire the farm for weddings. So with being a wedding photographer and loving the venue, I couldn’t miss the opportunity to arrange a styled shoot at this beautiful venue with some great local suppliers.
Sonya also bakes gorgeous wedding cakes so had to include a picture of this, unfortunately I didn’t get to have a slice … always next time!
Our amazingly talented florist, Jo created the most amazing peony bouquet I’ve seen, even featuring pheasant feathers and dried hares tail grass to suit the farm setting.
Anita, the blushing bride for the day, wore the stunning Art Couture AC723 gown stocked by the friendly team at Felicity Rose. Whilst the bridesmaid dresses and page boy suits were designed and handmade by Carley at Violet and Bean.
Thankfully on the day of the shoot, the clouds cleared and we had brilliant sunshine for the afternoon. Our top team of suppliers were all so lovely and professional, I can honestly say that I highly recommend them all – their details are below, get in touch with them!
If you are looking for a unique picturesque venue in Kent, arrange to visit Little Fant Farm to have a look around.
Lastly many thanks to Gerry and Sonya for letting us take over their farm for the day! X
