HOW IT WORKS
All Violet and Bean children's wear is made to order, using the best quality fabrics available. Fully lined and hand finished.

Requests for fabric samples accepted.
My lead time at the moment is 3-6 weeks. This includes fabric ordering and receiving, making, and shipping.
Shipping
All garments are packed beautifully, individually, folded as little as possible and popped in a box.
Unfortunately, due to shipping fees, I only send within the UK.
Everything is posted using Royal Mail Special delivery, Parcel Force for larger parcels.
Once shipped I will email you with your tracking details.
Bespoke
I offer a Bespoke option. Either a variation of my listed garments or a totally bespoke design created by yourself.
Bespoke dress sash? Some people have their own fabric that matches their adult bridesmaids or would like a different one to advertised.
Sizes
All Violet and Bean children's wear are made for age sizes. For example, Age 3, Age 4, Age 5 and so on. Not made to measure.
My patterns are pretty true to ages size clothing. For example, for an age 3, I would make and Age 3 but for an Age 3-4 (heading more to an Age 4) I would make an Age 4.
I can adapt a pattern if required, for example, you may have a slim and tall child so I would make their age size for the bodice and dress but adapt the length of the skirt to their height.
Vision
Safety!
All of my sashes comply with the safety regulations for childrens clothing. Sashes are to be tied at the back. All dresses aged 36 months and under, sashes will be attached to the dress.
Some of my garments may feature beads, sequins, buttons and more. Please do not leave a child under the age of 36 months unattended/asleep wearing a Violet and Bean garment.
Washing
All of my handmade garments come with their own wash labels.
I do recommend dry cleaning most, as there can be a 5% shrinkage when machine washing. No tumble drying and iron inside out and on a low setting. Do not iron any Tulle net fabrics. These dresses can be hung and steamed for any creases to fall out.
